Project 365, October 8 through October 14

Photographing my children, and events in my life, throughout the year in a daily project…

October 8 – day 281: sweet dreams

October 9 – day 282: Nice! I hate cleaning windows

October 10 – day 283: I had the best lunch today with Kellie from Precious Previews. Check out her child size Transformers umbrella! Love this girl!

October 11 – day 284: must be good

October 12 – day 285: laundry helper

October 13 – day 286: texture

October 14 – day 287: Happy Birthday, Mariah! It sure doesn’t seem like it’s been 19 years since I gave birth to my baby girl when I was the young age of 16. With every birthday she has, and every milestone she reaches, I can’t help but think back to the challenges I knew I would face when choosing life for my baby when I was just a baby myself. It was one of the most challenging, yet rewarding, experiences I have ever been through. Thankfully my little girl inspired me and gave me the strength to take one day at a time and enjoy life together and make the best out of any situation we were put in. Sure there were days in those first few years that tears were shed and days that didn’t seem fair that I had to do this alone, but we made it, and I couldn’t have done it without the unconditional love this little girl gave me and the support of my family and friends. 19 years later… and I can’t believe we are here, where we are today, living our dreams with our beautiful family.Happy Birthday, sweetheart. I love you and I am so proud of your choices in life. Always keep your head high and reach for the stars.
